The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch
Randy Pausch was a university professor who asked his audience to dream like there wasn’t going to be a tomorrow; because as we soon find out, for him there wasn’t going to be. At age 46, Randy had been told he had pancreatic cancer and had only a few months left to live. Despite his wife asking him not to lecture that day (it was her birthday) he felt compelled to do it anyway, for reasons revealed at the end.
Randy’s lecture that day was called ‘Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams”, and is an awe-inspiring speech about love, life, family, and above all, following your childhood dreams – no matter what they are.
